I have a HP 585 front end storage server, rebooting two or three times a day the only log that make sense is this Dr. Watson log file… Has anybody ever seen this?

So, you’re saying the server suddenly reboots? Just like that? In that case, it should generate a “minidump” file (by default located in the \windows\minidump directory). Is there such a file? (there should be exactly one file for each server crash).

If so, please send it to my email address (click the envelope button located just under my picture).

Thanks,
Vlk

Thanks Vlk,

I wanted to wait till we knew for sure what the problem was… We found older LSI SCSI Card driver causing the problem. We replaced it, turnup all Avast Services and have not had a problem since…

Thanks for the response
