I think you are going way over the top, in all the time I have used this personally and the hundreds of times I have run it on other systems not once has it broken anything.
It appears that you have a little knowledge all gleaned from the internet where 90% is rubbish
If you are that concerned then I will cease assisting and you can repair the damage you created yourself
