red circle in icone at startup?

Dear all,

When I startup my computer then most of the time the Avast is inactive. Then I have to open “start & stop services” and restart Avast services. But, before I can do that, I have to wait several minutes otherwise services is not reacting.
When I set windows media player services to manual as opposed to automatic, then Avast is starting as expected.
How can I solve this?

I am running the latest home edition.

Right click the ‘a’ blue icon, Program Settings, Troubleshooting tab.
Choose to delay the avast services loading at startup.

You’re not changing the protection (done at low level drivers) but only the services start.
