Red Pop up from Avast. Pls Help.

I have a problem.
Avast red pop up every time i connect to internet an stated that

“You are using and old AVS. Please down load a newer one”

But every time I download the new AVS the pop up still shows up. I try to uninstall my Avast and re install it again but still i have the same problem.

Any guys out there can help?

Can you check if your system time/date is correct?

What version of avast are you using, the latest is 4.6.763, if that too is well out of date you may have a problem.

What is your firewall, does it allow avast.setup internet access ?

Check about avast and ensure that the Update Expirations date is still in date, if not you will need to reregister and get a new registration key.
