refer restart with version 4.7.892

Hi

This may sound a stupid question, but here goes.

I am on dial up and the latest version 4.7.892 has been released.
My question is this, if i update to the latest program version, after you update and asked to restart your computer.
If i don’t restart till later will i still be protected even though i have not rebooted.

This is actually a very good question (frequently asked by our business customers who can’t tolerate any AV downtimes).

The answers is Yes, you will be protected even if you don’t restart immediately. That is, the OLD version will still be effective until you restart the machine. Then, during the start of the system, the old files will be replaced by the new version.
