Refund after auto-renewal - Have filled out forms and cancelled auto-renewal

I had purchased Avast on an older laptop, and did not receive an email warning me of auto-renewal. Since last year I have purchased a new laptop, and our school offers us free anti-virus and I am using that. I did not want avast, and I do not want it now. I have filled out a refund request many times since the auto-renewal and in over a week have not heard anything back. I have not activated the license for the new product and am still looking for a refund.

The avast request number for my first refund request was 05606308

I’ve reported this post to Avast. Please realize that each new submission restarts the wait time all over again.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Just figured that “We will contact you shortly” in reference to my refund request meant within a day or two. Trying not to surpass the 30 day money back mark. Thanks again.

The crucial date is when you requested the refund, if that is within the 30 day refund period then you will get your refund.
