As of 18th January, 10 days and 7 working days later, I haven’t received any answer at all.
I wonder if my ticket has been lost in the “jungle” or what happened to it?
(If any member of staff sees this, could you give a confirmation that my ticket is still on the way to the support team? Ticket ID: [#662962])
I have noticed that you guys seem to have the answer to my inquiry. I had requested a refund and cancellation for my Avast subscription quite some time ago and is in desperate need of obtaining such refund. See I am a college student with not much income. The money Avast took was taken directly from my savings for summer classes, denying my access to proceed my studies at my university. So if one of you could possibly help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello, I’m having a similar issue. I reported the charge the day it was taken from my account, and the product was not activated until the following day at 9:53 PM.
Please, please have someone contact me. I need the money returned, ASAP.
You can see the actions carried out by the posters above, without information there is nothing that can be done in the forums.
When was the charge made and for what product ?
When did you submit your support ticket ?
When funds are taken from your account (if a bank account), they would have to be cleared funds (in the recipients bank) before the issue of the license
Thank you for your reply. I have not seen any activity on my ticket, though I could be looking in the wrong place. I’ve replied to the ticket, so I’d think I’d be able to see it, there.
The charge cleared my bank on April 27. The product, Avast Cleanup, was activated on April 28. Ticket #794889.
I’m losing patience with this process, for numerous reasons, and despise having to dig for information, when I’ve done all that I can do to get this resolved. I will reread the thread and see what I’m missing.

The tickets are handled on a first in first out FIFO order, so replying in your own ticket could generate activity, potentially pushing you further down the order.
Please do not be condescending. There are things going on in my life that make this a pressing matter.
David, thank you for the tip. I did not know that could happen. I am just over it, though. I hate to be impatient, but I can’t play around, right now. I need this resolved, ASAP. I thought that leaving the ticket alone for 5+ days was long enough.
