Refund for Avast - Ticket# 606537

Okay, so I’m hoping this also gets thru to them, it’s been almost a week(business day week) since I opened my ticket and I can not get a response on my ticket. I haven’t opened any new ones, but I have replied to the current ticket in hopes of it being resolved.
I don’t use Avast, Never wanted an auto-renewal and I for sure thought I cancelled it a week after I installed this terrible AV but nope! got charged anyways!

I also opened a claim against them with paypal so I don’t just lose my money because I was being a good boy and twiddling my thumbs while their slow response time may or may not possibly exceed the refund time period. This is pretty ridiculous for a company to do things so slowly.

I just issued your refund, but please be aware that the transaction may get blocked due to the claim in Paypal and the refund process stopped, and if so you will need to wait for Paypal to resolve it. I recommend you to close the claim and to receive the refund from us.

If avast was a terrible av, there wouldn’t be over 200 million (with the acquisition of AVG over 400 million) people using it.
