I have contacted Avast numerous times for a refund on my account and they won’t even contact me back! They did an auto renewal on an account of mine and took money out last year, which I never got a refund for, and they did it again this year. They took out $53.49 from my bank account without my permission and I have submitted 3 tickets and contacted the BBB… still no refund. This is ridiculous. Due to time constraints I had to repurchase with Avast this year which cost me $135 for all 5 of my computers and they can’t even give me the courtesy of returning an email or a phone call. This is my last year with Avast. I will be blocking them from my bank account or I am pretty sure they will continue to steal my money. How do they get by with this? So disgusted at this point with their business practices!!!

I have submitted 3 ticketsEach time you submit a new ticket, you will be put back to the bottom of the stack making it that you have to wait longer. This has been explained many times.

As Eddy said, if you send more than one ticket, or send many responses to your own ticket, it is virtually impossible for us to reach you, as your ticket will be forever “freshly arrived”.
Note also that we sent you two notifications regarding the auto-renewal, 30 and 15 days before placing the charge, but they could have been misdirected to your spam folder.
Anyhow, I’ll take care of your case on Monday, but please don’t send more tickets/follow up messages

that is not true… I have no notification of an auto renewal. Avast actually put in two duplicate orders the first year, perhaps this has something to do with it, but I did not put in duplicate orders. I contacted Avast to clear this up and it NEVER got cleared up. If this is how you treat people I hope you go out of business and I will continue to pursue this. Next year I will make sure my bank blocks Avast… a lot of trouble to go through to keep someone from taking your money… some of us work very hard for every penny we have. I did not authorize an auto-renewal so in my book that is stealing. I appreciate Moroni’s help but whoever Eddy is, you better believe I have done business with professionals before and NEVER been treated like this. I check my spam folder… NO notice whatsoever! I am angry because you don’t treat people like this. What business doesn’'t have phone support so I can talk to someone. What business doesn’t have an explanation on their site stating that multiple tickets will kick you to the bottom (how does that even make sense), the list goes on! I have been trying to clear this up since the 16th, which may mean nothing to some people, but it means paying a bill or putting food on the table to my family!
You should have received notifications about the upcoming auto-renewal.
Did you change your email address after your initial purchase ?
Do others have access to your email account ?
If you don’t want the auto-renewal anymore, just disable it.
