Refund on cancelled subscription

I uninstall my avast and have decided to get my antivirus from another provider.

Avast have just taken a year’s subscription from my account. This is disappointing - the account is inactive (and has ben for some time) and no renewal reminder was sent. Only now I find out that Avast defaults to auto renewal, wha ich I’ve obviously cancelled.

However, I’d like to cancel completely and, given I obviously don’t use any Avast products would really like a refund. It’s not obvious who you can contact and how you might do this. Does anyone know if this is possible?
