Refund Request #624278

My husband and I did the trial Avast Premier on two different computers opening 2 different account. In April we decided to purchase on one account and installed it on all the computers in our home. The second account was then cancelled. On 12/7/2016 we were charged for that second membership anyway. We called immediately and told them this. They then told us we needed to do a Refund Ticket. After dealing with some very, very rude call center employees we were finally able to finally submit the ticket and were told that this would be taken care of. After calling 3 days later to find out what was going on we were told that they would respond to the ticket in 3 days. It has now been 6 days and nothing. Normally we would just wait it out but it’s Christmas. I’m not working due to some health issues and my husband has been temporarily laid off, so we really need this money back. I don’t think we are asking for a lot. They took money they were not owed and will not respond to us or just be kind since they are in the wrong. Since there is no direct number for those who are responsible to answer these tickets I need help! Has anyone had any success with this issue that can lend some guidance please?

That’s good, as it happens it was on the same day as the topic was created and Craig’s report, which may have kicked started.

Hopefully no further contact from the OP in this topic is a positive sign.

Glad it got solved quickly :slight_smile: I did notice Moroni viewing this topic shortly after it was reported so I guess it was all done via pm or email.
