Hello members. 
Do anyone know if you could turn of different messages in free Avast Antivirus.I know its free and thats maybe something i have to take but it feels kind of silly when i often get Avast messages like, anyone could use your ip adress or send spam to you when Avast itself already is doing this. Thanks for any help.
No, it is the cost of free. For the most part it is reporting fact (this could happen), but used to promote other Avast paid products to prevent it.
I have been using Avast Free for over 17 years and I don’t find the volume excessive, perhaps I have a higher tolerance and possibly don’t get as many as new users might (it seems to slow down).
Some I just have a laugh at, some I just thing so what, I know my IP is visible (if I was concerned I would use a free VPN that they are trying to sell me), but I’m not unduly concerned.
I recently tried a free VPN for just over a week, but I have since uninstalled it.
