Avast forum members,
I have just downloaded and installed Avast Free Antivirus in 2 laptops
for my kids. Neither has email because they are too young. Can I
register them both using my email address?
Thanks for any response.

I am not sure on the limit of product keys or registrations per e-mail but I can verify that one e-mail address will generate two (at least) product keys/registrations with each one being different from the other. Just be sure to request a new key (versus requesting a replacement key) for each pc.
Good Luck!
chevymanusa,
Thanks for the reply, it’s encouraging. I’ll try registering with my email address
and I’ll post what happens.

Version 5 doesn’t require e-mail registration, it is done online from the program (maintenance>subscription).
Chocholo,
How about the PC that doesn’t have internet connection?
A PC with no internet connection would not be able to get updates therefore a subscription would not be necessary. Also all infections to the PC of malicious software would have to come from a local source (user, network, external device) as the PC would have no internet connection.
You need to register in order to keep the program working.
It can be done alternatively via e-mail, using any other pc with e-mail connection to receive the mail with the registration file/info and transfer that to the other one by means of usb-stick, floppy etc.
Avast Forum,
I registered using my email address and received a License Key. I was able
to register both of my kids laptops with the one Key.
Thanks for the help.
