My Avast is about to run out, I get the red message every day.
I’ve gone to the web site and gone through the process of registationg for a new key or license. And I’ve heard nothing. This was over a week ago. I’ve even written to the support@avast.com and still never heard a word.
Is something not working? Or do I need to uninstall my current version and reinstall the current version. Avast just updated my version a little while ago.
I’ve used Avast for years, both on this computer and my other one and I’ve never had this trouble before. The key/license# has always come right back to me. Do you have any idea what is wrong? ???
My email is Outlook Express and the span filter is off due to a server problem.
The registration key is sent by email and it’s valid for a year.
Isn’t it being blocked by any spam filter? Can you check your email by your browser (webmail)?
If both of these computers comply with the Home, Non-Commercial use and are in your household then you only need one Home registration key.
If you aren’t getting an email from register @ avast.com without the spaces because it is being blocked by you ISP’s spam filter then it is unlikely that you will get a reply from support either. Try a different email address, or try a free yahoo account address has worked for many who had this problem.
If you can comply with the home non-commercial use you shouldn’t need the second key anyway.

I was a little concern, because the last time I got my key it was with another ISP server.

Well I tried registating with my Hotmail address and still no key. My Avast runs out the end of this week. Should I uninstall it and start all over again. I just don’t understand what is going on. I turned off all filter’s in my ISP mail. But why would that affect my Hotmail. I thought if anything it would show up in my junk mail in hotmail
The whole point of the registration process is that the user is also declaring/certifying that they qualify for the home non-commercial use of avast 4 home, a third party can’t do that for farmgirl otherwise we would already have offered.
;D I’m one happy girl now. I took your suggestion and applied for a Yahoo mail account then registered for a key. And within an hour the key was in my email and I’m set for another 14 months.
Thank you guys so much for solving my problem. Still would like to know why I couldn’t get it like I did for all these other years. But it is done now.
My electronic mailbox not receive the key after my register 24 hours.
So i had to apply another key.In the meantime,my first electronic mailbox had received the first key.
I want not make use of the superfluous key to any commercial action,just want to help others.
Now i know, it is bad idea.
