Hi, I’ve been installing both Pro, IS and free Avast for years for my clients.
Yesterday I spent over 2 hours registering, re-registering, repairing, uninstalling and today finally giving up on a new PC install.
Avast says its registered, but for 0 days, so will not update
I requested a license key, but the only option I have is to insert a license file
My new registration for my client doesn’t allow me into the site forum
Your video just goes round and round without any option for further assistance
Hmmm… If I’m correctly informed, there is a bug in the registration process that is causing this.
There are other threads in forum regarding to this.
Are you using avast! uninstall toll to achieve a full from scratch installation?
Yes, I used the avast clean up program, which should have removed all registry entries and files, but on re install I get the same situation: says it’s registered, but it isn’t:-(
