Win XP PC registered 7/3/2015 show registration will expire 12/30/2015. Since registration is typically for 1 year, this makes me wonder if avast has set a date to end support for XP. Could find nothing to indicate that is the case. Could someone please shed light on this?
Note: This XP’s primary user is an 88 year old woman who will not change to a new operating system…so admonitions regarding XP safety aren’t helpful.

I saw that article…any idea why this PC showing a short registration period?
Check your system date (day,month,year) and adjust as required.
If the system date is correct try a repair of avast:
XP Control Panel - Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and select Repair, click next and follow. Reboot.
