Registration License code doesn't work

I’ve trying to download a new free license code since last Friday for the 6.0 version.
It doesn’t reply the message nor returns an error.

I’m using the code I received for the 4.0 version and it doesn’t work. How cain I solve that

I have the same problem. It won’t re-register with program itself nor using these links. How can I re-register avast 6 because the current registration expires in few days?

You need to download and install Avast first, then reboot. Next go on the Internet to register (see below):

The best (and easiest) way to register Avast Free is to open the GUI and click on Register. You need to be online (on the Internet at the time you do this) and go to this link http://www.avast.com/registration-free-antivirus.php. Complete the form and the GUI should change to “Registered.” If not, reboot your machine and see if it now changes to Registered.

If you had an old license, like a 4.0 license, do not try to put the license key in a registration form for 6.0 because it will not work for the Free version.
