My computer was rebuilt with a new motherboard and processor last week (also a clean install of XP). Prior to the rebuilding I had downloaded avast! 4.x Home and registered it but now when I start the program it says 52 days left for this demo. I should note that I had the shop install avast! prior to delivery so this is a new program (again) for me. I don’t know where they had the registration info. sent to. Should I uninstall this copy and reinstall it or can the info. be emailed to me?
Most likely, they only installed avast Home and not registered it.
