It will not let me register
When I click the key it goes to
Retrieving Information Please wait
And then that fades away and goes back to Registration

I have posted this on the Pro thread by mistake.
It’s probably because the main site Avast.com is down . Does the same to me . I am trying since a couple of hours. When the site is back you will be able to register . 
P.S Well actually it’s the free/pro thread so I guess you were at the good place
