I’ve just installed v2 released on the 20th and gone to register it with my Avast account and it errors saying your Avast Anti theft is not up to date and to update to the latest version before registering.

This happens on both my Nexus 7 and Desire.

How can I register these devices with my account?

Hi,

you have to do what is says. I think you have Anti-Theft installed, right? After accessing its GUI, you will get an update notification. Follow it and update your Anti-Theft to the newest version. Then you will be able to register both apps with your Account.

Thanks, all sorted now. I was getting confused between the auto update and security update.
