Pls help!
Hi, I have just installed my internet connexion and I always receive popup like this:
“stop! immediate attention required. Windows has found critical system errors. Download registry cleaner from: www.clean32.com. Failure to act now may lead to data loss and corruption.” and many others.
It seems to be viruses. How can I avoid it definitivly?
Thanx.
You have spyware or some kind of adware in your pc. Download and run Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE, Spybot S&D for eg. Just look at my signature. All security programs I am using is for free (home usage). Just Google for them and download
It seems a clean website for Dr.Web.
Anyway, besides the tools posted by Ylap, maybe it will be good if you download, install, update and run other trojan remover tools: a-squared, Free AVG Antispyware or SUPERantispyware (trojan removers). Some users recommend Spyware Terminator.
The alert is almost certainly a fake rogue program trying to get you to install and purchase a product.
Rogue Anti-Spyware Removal.
This one has a combined removal tool with instructions,

Hi All :
It appears the newest rogue/suspect antiSPYWARE programs are now calling themselves
"registry cleaner(s)" . To Prevent ( if you purchase the "resident protection ") and clean the
spyware from a computer, my top recommendation would be AVG Antispyware from
www.ewido.net .
You mentioned to install spyware terminator and trojan removers and to run them. My friend’s computer uses the free avast home edition anti-virus software, but was advised not to use spyware terminator by one of the tech people in this forum quite some time ago. I think the reason was that there will be conflicts with avast’s program or it’s not compatible with avast. I don’t know who to believe. My question is, can you use spyware terminator and the other trojan removal tools that you mentioned above with avast or not? My next question, why did the other tech person advise not to run spyware terminator? Thanks, Megaman
I’ve tested Spyware Terminator (even with ClamWin integration turned on) and avast without problem.
I don’t think they will conflict. The problem could be elsewhere: some users do not trust the ancient policy of the Spyware Terminator developer (using itself some adware). You can test if you want, but you don’t need to do so if you have AVGas and a-squared, for instance.
So you recommend downloading, installing and using a-squared and avg antispyware programs and not sypware terminator? My friend’s computer is running on Windows ME and she uses ad-aware se, spybot-search and destroy, aswcleaner and cwshredder at the moment. Thanks, Megaman
Shortly, yes.
Oh… I’m not sure AVG and a-squared are compatible with Windows Me… need to check in their websites…
I’m using XP on my computer. Will AVG and A-Squared be compatible? Thanks, Megaman
AVG antispyware and a-squared are fully compatible with avast in Windows XP.
I have the three ones 8)
From what you shared, AVG and A-Squared are compatible with avast in Windows XP. I run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot-S & D, and CWShredder. Will adding AVG Antispyware and A-Squared be redundant to what I am already using? There are so many free programs to protect one’s computer. I just don’t want to any overlapping or unecessary programs on my hard drive. Mega
I have try this program, and every time got i a sign of Defender this program to remove.
What the reasen where,i dont understand, but something must be wrong. ???
For me, my opinion, is that the detection rates of Ad-Aware and Spybot-S & D are lower than AVG Antispyware and A-Squared.
I could be wrong but, maybe another user, with more technical knowledge could give us some light about detection rates here.
