Hi, is there a way of reinstalling the Avast browser without loss of bookmarks or passwords. Its stopped updating and has asked me to reinstall it. thanks.
As far as I’m aware, not if you uninstall first.
Whilst I don’t use the Avast Secure browser, but I believe there is a way to export your saved bookmarks and passwords. You should then be able to import them.

OK I did a bit of searching and this Video is from bob a very frequent member and senior helper in the Avast Forums.
Whilst this is related to exporting your passwords - I would expect the process to be very similar for saving your bookmarks.

Thanks , i think that is the way im going to have to do this. I fell for the repair tab before and lost everything ,ie , passwords and bookmarks. so i will give this a try. thanks
