rejects password

I bought a new phone and I downloaded anti-theft and am trying to connect it to my existing avast account.

When I select to add an account using “email” (rather than google or facebook account), it rejects my working password.

It says that my password must be at least 7 characters.
But it is 7 characters!
And it works on the web.
I re-typed it many times to be sure it was not my mistake.
Seems like a bug in the app.
How can I report it? I did not find a way…
