Hello folks! Just yesterday Google released it’s very own Google Chrome 64-bit designed for 64-bit Windows OS system. I have a question and that is only one of my program is 64-bit (WINRAR) all the rest is x86. As for Avast 2014 running on my 64-bit version of Windows 7 if I install Google Chrome 64-bit will it be compatible with my Avast Free 2014?
Also what other factors should I consider if I install Google Chrome 64-bit?
Asked here as well: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=154009.0
Edit: Alievitan is asking about 2015 beta
Thanks for the link schmidthouse but no answer was given. So when Avast Free 2015 gets released I can then install Google Chrome 64 bit I am guessing that Avast 2015 Free will be compatible with Google Chrome 64 bit edition?
I’m using the 64 bit version of Chrome right now.
Good to know :). I have only CCleaner and WINRAR both of them are 64-bit all other programs that I have are 32-bit. I will wait for Avast 2015 to come out as a final product and install Google chrome 64 bit
Try 7Zip instead of WinRAR you might be pleasantly surprised:
