I found an entry in my Avast File System Shield Exclusions that I do not remember putting there. It is:
C: users\user name\appdata\local\temp\is-ESKEU.tmp\rkinstaller.exe,
from what I’ve researched this is Relevant Knowledge, I deleted from the exclusions list but upon next reboot it was there again.
Is it possible that this is from one of the programs on my computer, is it something I should be worried about?
I did a quick scan, it said some files could not be scanned and in the warnings box it said:
Disk\?.…{+} Boot Record. Error: The parameters is incorrect(87).
Malwarebytes found nothing.
Hi,
Can you attach the MBAM log?
Also, please run OTL and aswMBR from here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
Follow the script for OTL and I can fetch someone for you to help remove any malware or adware present on your system

I see you use SUMO.
I would suggest you got the relevant knowledge from this program.
You need to download and install the “lite” or “nork” versions.
Unfortunately all of KC software programs have this bundled with the full installers.
Yes, I use Sumo, when I installed it I believe Avast flagged it and I made an exclusion, I bet thats it.
I thought I installed the lite version, will uninstall and try again, if this doesn’t solve problem I will do the scans.
installed the lite version, that worked. Thanks for your help.

Your most welcome.
Although there may be still remnants of RK in your registry etc.
