Reload not retrieving new content

I have made changes to my index page on my website and the Avast Secure Browser absolutely refuses to load the new content. I have double-checked with other browsers who load the updated content properly. R, the “Reload this page” button, clicking on the address bar and hitting “Enter”: none of these methods will force the browser to reread the page. However, if I actually request the index.html page, it’s updated. Go back to the default URL, not updated.

Strange behavior. Buggy.

I have a few questions to better understand the problem:

  1. Please could you describe what exact setting you have in “New Session” settings?
  2. When the problem occurs, do other tabs work?
  3. How about new tabs, do they load?
  4. How many tabs from new session after browser start are not loaded?

What is your browser version?
