Remote Assistance - Mouse not centered on pointer

Been having this issue since Avast 9, seems that every time I provide remote assistance, the mouse pointer that shows up on my screen is too far to the left and slightly up. I would say about 2 inches up and 1 inch left. Makes it extremely hard to help people.

I am using Avast Internet Security v2014.9.0.2011. I know for a fact that everyone else I connect to uses Avast! Antivirus Free, as I installed it for them. I also know that happens on both clients computer that have windows 7 and windows 8.1. I have tried it from my laptop and my main computer and have same issue. Both computers are running Windows 8.1 64bit and both have Avast Internet Security v2014.9.0.2011.

Smells like a bug in AIS, tbh.

I have the same issue and have not seen a solution.

I can do a remote assistance window, I can see everything, can move mouse pointer & can mouse click.
I can type characters on keyboard OK.

BUT, the position of my view of mouse pointer is about 2 inches to the left and slightly up.
I can tell by how hover buttons highlight or when I click in text area, where the cursor lands.

Needless to say, it renders remote support almost useless.
