I was using remote assistance yesterday and it would disconnect from the other computer after about 10 minutes then after using it like 3 or 4 times in a row the computer I was connected to would not connect anymore and they were getting an error.
They are running avast free latest version and I am running avast internet security latest version.
We need more information Like, What did the error say? Can you give you some pictures?
I have been trying to access Remote Assistance for the past couple of days an it wont connect. I tried from 2 computers ver 1426 installed. It was working OK with version 1407.
Athlon 1700, XP pro sp2, 1.25 G ram
Pentium 4, 2 GHz, XP pro sp3, 1.5 G. ram
maybe this has to do with the my.avast.com servers being down? Again this morning they are giving message “Service Temporarily Unavailable”
Sorry I wanted to include a picture and I forgot. I also want to mention that I deactivated my firewall and other protection I have but it still wouldn’t connect.
Looks like me.avast.com is down, cuz that might be the host xD So please wait, Case Solved

having the remote problem too. it has been up and down since Avast! 7 release. guess its the server side issue.
Has anybody used remote assistance and if you have do the sessions automatically end/close after about 10 minutes??? ANYBODY??
