Remote Desktop Connection to Windows XP Pro SP3 not working

i just updated to the latest version of Avast Free (version 8.0.1483), but remote desktop (RDP) stopped working.

when i try to connect to my Windows XP Pro SP3 machine, using remote desktop, it does not work with the Network Shield installed.

it only seems to work after i have already logged in once at the pc. this defeats the purpose of remote desktop (i can’t remotely reboot the machine).

this seems like a bug. is there a solution?

Here the same Problem. Avast 8 on Windows 8 causes that outgoing RDP-Session will not work. Has anyone an Solution?
