Does Avast provide automatic scan of removable media once the removable media is attached? Is it offered in Home Edition 4.8? Professional 4.8? Free Edition 5.0? Professional 5.0? Internet Security SUite 5.0?
I have 4.8 Home and just from trying it and watching avast!'s behavior I can tell you it doesn’t seem to scan just by plugging in the media. If it opens with Auto Play then yes, it will scan when the media opens if it’s something avast! would normally scan.
