I use Thunderbird 0.9 as my e-mail program. When I want to remove an e-mail from my In-folder it takes about 5 seconds to remove it. this happens with every e-mail (with or without attachements) . When I disabel Avast ezverything works a normal.
I have shut down Internet Mail and Outlook/exchange. Still no changes.
can anyone help me out here?

OS: Windows XP SP1
because my native language is Dutch I’m still using Thunderbird 0.9
there are for the moment no translations in Dutch for Thunderbird 1.0 final, so I would like to stick to Thunderbird 0.9 for the time being.
Does putting the sensitivity bar down to normal on Internet mail help speed it up?
Are you using SSL/TSL encryption/authentication?
