Removing the VPN nag popup-Win 10. How?

I’ve checked the “don’t show this again” umpteen times, but this thing incessantly pops up over and over again.

It’s the first time I’ve seen Avast inject such a noxious piece of code in their tools, and I’ve used them for many many years.

How do I get rid of this popup once and for all. If I was ever going to use SECURELINE , I’m certainly NOT going to purchase it now and reward this annoyance with a purchase.

Thanks for any help. I’m really disappointed in AVAST…

Before posting, please (re)search first.

As has been explained many times…
You can disabled the pop-ups in the paid versions of avast.

In the free version you can set avast to silent/gaming mode.
Which is not advised because you also won’t see critical/security warnings if you do.

Thanks. I’ll go disable the warnings. The spam payload overhead is too high to have this )#$# thing pop up every 10 min.

Whoever’s idea this was at Avast needs to go sit in the corner.

Might want to make the answer a sticky if there’s that many inquiries.

That is a really bad idea. You will get hundreds of sticky posts in every forum and that is not making things easier to find. People should use their brains, (re)search before posting etc. If everyone would do that, there where at least 97% less posts about the same issue/with the same question and such.

There is a reason why people are not allowed to drive a car on public roads without having a license

Please go to Settings->Tools->Secureline Toggle to OFF.
Restart PC

That should fix your problem. Sorry for the inconvenience, the popup should appear only on new networks and max once per 3 days.
