Hi, i have recently started using avast! and with my first scan i detected several viruses in my computer. i moved most of the files to the virus chest(i could’nt do this for some due to the access denied error message). anyway, after doing this, i was told to restart my computer. when i restarted my computer…it failed to startup. After using system restore(windows could not fix the startup)…to before avast! was installed…startup worked ok and there was no problem(except that the viruses where no longer in the chest as avast! was not installed yet.)…How can i remove the viruses without causing my startup to fail? and what about those viruses with the access denied error?
Please attach your logs.
