I Need to reformat my computer and reload the operating system but how do I get a a copy of my current registration of Avast (free edition) as the e-mail sent to me is no longer available. If I ask for another registration it says it’s already registered to this e-mail address so the program stays in trial mode. I guess I could set up another e-mail address but is there any other way around this ?
Why not register it from with in the program itself ???
Go to Maintenance and then select registration.

Make sure you are on the Internet when you follow Bob’s instructions above. You shouldn’t have to recreate another email address.
