Ignore this one, my error.
I was about to renew my annual subscription for Avast but did not. Digital River the folks who process the renewal subscription leave no choice other than a “perpetual renewal at then current price”. Seems way to aggressive for a vendor to demand a forever renewal. WTF? Yes i know that you can always opt out when the current period is up, but object to being subscribing forever. Is there no way to simply take a one year renewal with no strings attached?
