renewed my subscroption but importing license didnt extend exp date

how come i renewed my subscription by another year but when i import the new license it doesn’t extend my expiration date

Obvious question, but has to be asked - Are you using the new license file (license.avastlic) that came with your renewed subscription email and not the old one ?
