Hello, my Mom and I use Avast! Free Antivirus on our desktop computer, we’ve been using it for several years. Our license expires on January 26th, and I was trying to remember, when it comes time to renew, do we receive a new license code via e-mail, or do we just go to where it says “My Licenses”, click where it says “Upgrade Now”, and manually renew it, or does it get automatically renewed? We want to keep the free version.
Also, would we be able to renew before the expiration day, and if so, how far ahead would we be able to do that?
And, last but not least, I realized when we renewed our free Avast! last year, we typed in the wrong e-mail address. Will this affect anything?
