'Repair' and 'Force repair' do nothing

Avast has announced a virus Win32:PcClient-OD[Trj] in the package Windows 7.pvm under Parallels on my Macbook. I use my computer professionally so it is a huge installation with OS X as well as Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10. A full scan including Time Machine accordingly requires close to 24 hours. But still, it works. It is during the next steps things seem to fall apart whatever I do:

Pressing ‘Repair’ causes a message about no succes telling me to try ‘Force repair’. Pressing ‘Force repair’ seems to launch an endless loop that cannot be stopped neither from inside Avast nor from the OS. I need to kill the machine thus killing the scan results. And I must start all over again.

Any ideas out there?
