Repeated Avast pop-up

Since updating to Avast 17.7.2314 (build 17.7.3660.244) I keep getting this annoying screen re-appear on my desktop.

Is there anyway to get rid of this behaviour or is this the shape of things to come?

Thank you, did select Free, and then popped up again a few days later, but hopefully after selecting free again, it’s taken care of for good now

I too have clicked the Select option under Avast Free Antivirus. The problem is this same window re-appears after a couple of days.

To confirm, it is now 2 days since my original post and the same windows has suddenly re-appeared.
