So the other day I was on a movie site( on Google Chrome) and this alert from Avast (see attachments, it’s the “codelikea” one), kept popping up as I was using Chrome. Obviously the site was bad, but it popped up like 4 times in a row. The URL it mentioned had nothing to do with the site I was on. I thought nothing of it because I got Avast on my side. That was yesterday. Now, today, I was going to play an online game called shellshockers. io. I’ve played this game many, many times before and never got an alert from it. But today I was playing it and the alert( the most recent one of ipfs. io) came up. I found this really weird because #1 it was a different link name?, #2 it had never triggered an alert before, and #3 it kept coming every 5 seconds on that site. Not really sure what to make of it. Virustotal says the “codelikea” link is suspicious, but doesn’t say much for the other one. Any thoughts on why this is occurring. I am currently doing a full scan. Please assist/offer advice in any way you can. I’d appreciate it so much!
EDIT/update: Avast full scan has found nothing except for 10 things that were unable to be scanned.
