The following warning is popping up in any open document about every 30 seconds to one minute, blocking any ongoing activity (typing, etc.). How can I get rid of this?
Not good advice, they may suppress the alerts, but all that would do would be suppress the alert but it wouldn’t allow the page to load.
The image posted I rather doubt relates to the site he visited as relates to signing into Google.
If it doesn’t then usert362 should post the actual Avast Alert window they are getting.
Is the image actually the one you are getting the Alert on as I don’t know why you would include this old topic in the image ?
Just do a screenshot of the Alert Window.
Given the comment “The following warning is popping up in any open document about every 30 seconds to one minute” it could be browser add-on or browser cache related.
This “threat secured” popup appears on anything open at the time and does not appear to be related to what I am doing on the computer.
I have finally uninstalled and re-installed Avast, and this seems to have resolved the problem (for now).
Thanks for the feedback!
You’re welcome.
I hope it stays that way.
If you do post a future screenshot of an Avast alert popup, please click and expand the "See details v " part of the popup to include that extra information.
