Well, I shot myself in the foot… again.
I downloaded the avast update and after only 20 minutes - found all my firefox icons are now chrome icons. I did system restore which got rid of chrome but the icons are still there.
The last update I did - I had the same problem (I also accidentally clicked upgrade to regular avast but that’s another story).
I’ve been do’in this computer thing since 1969 (I’m still sure it’s just a passing fad) - you’d think I would have learned.
And if I do this again, please shoot me (clean shot please) in the face and put me out of my misery.
How do I change the chrome icons back to firefox?
Set firefox as your default browser, that should change the file association for html files.
