I’m relatively new to the AVAST Forum, so i may have missed how to do this if at all possible. Other forums that i belong to have a facility where you can be notified (E-mail) when your post receives a reply. Does the AVAST Forum provide this feature?

yes, this forum do have these type of facility too.
go to your forum profile settings, there you can configure notifications.
Or just do it from the thread
I don’t know what the default settings are for the forum now, before the default used to be set so that you get an email notification when a reply is posted on any topic that you created or participated.
I have long since disabled this as for obvious reasons I would get lots of email notifications.
You can also click the Notify button at the top or bottom of any topic you wish to receive notifications.
If you aren’t receiving any email notification of a reply then it may be that, either this is no longer enabled or any email might be intercepted by an anti-spam tool.
Try clicking the Profile option in the big Orange menu bar at the top of the page - then select Notifications - turn on the notifications that you want.
That said there are restrictions on what you can do in your Profile until you have 20 posts, I don’t know if this is one of those restrictions.
Forgive my ignorance…i can see how to do this from the thread, which i assume would turn on reply notifications for that thread only, BUT, i can’t see how to do it from the PROFILE which i assume would turn it on for all threads.

Profile>Account Settings>Modify Profile>Notifications.
However, it may be you need at least 20 posts before you can access this.
If this is a part of the Profile that you can’t change then I guess it wouldn’t be displayed.
So having clicked on the profile, if you can’t see a Notifications, then you won’t be able to change those settings.

the O.P. is newbie, thats why cant access these settings.
DavidR nailed it…i don’t see Notifications. Maybe they don’t like us Canadians? I guess i should just be happy i can set it at the posting level.

At the bottom each post it shows notify so just click on that and it will send a notification to your email.

Only if those Canadians have less than 20 posts - Otherwise it is the same for all. ;D
You can also use the “Show new replies to your posts.” link at the top of the page. That is what I use regularly as you get a summary list of all replies without having to receive an email.
