Hello all. Well this is the second time in the last few months that Avast and detected the Sunthreatregkey as a trojan. Last time I packed the file and sent it into avast they updated their system to stop this false positive… This is where my problem is. I forgot how to send it in and can’t find the correct thread with instructions. I sent this file to http://www.virustotal.com and avast was the only one to detect it all my other programs also didn’t detect it. So I am positive this is a false positive. If someone could please give me directions on how to send this file into Avast Labs I would appreciate it. Thank you 
Send an email with the file (false positive or infected) to: virus@avast.com
You can use Alwil FTP server as a second way to transfer only big files. Upload them to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming (please, note that you won’t have READ access to the ftp server, just write - so you won’t even be able to see what you’ve just uploaded).
You can send the files to Chest and, from there, resend to Alwil for analysis.
