Report of Possibly Infected Site

Greetings. I just read the Avast! news article entitled, “Beware of the threat from hacked websites” and would like the report the following site as one potentially infected: hxxp://www.chog.org.

This is a legitimate client site of mine and recently when attempting to access it, I had been receiving a warning from Avast! of malicious site attempted access. Screen shot below:

Can you tell me if this is an infected site? If it is, how should I direct my client to fix it?

Thanks for your assistance.

Hello,

The website contains JS:Redirector-H. This detection was included in last vps update.

Regards

PS: Anyway, thank you for submitting it.

There are two large chunks of javascript before the opening Body tag of your site, see image. I have modified the script in the image to make it easier to view as it appears on a single line.

How do we rectify this?!?!

By finding and removing the scripts, chaging your passwords to stronger ones for uploading and modifying pages. Ensure if you are using any content management software PHP, SQL, WordPress, etc. that it is up to date as older version may have vulnerabilities.

Speak to your host about having been hacked and what they/you can do to prevent it.
