[request] debian (apt) repo

Hi,

It’s possible, to avast! developers, to make a Debian APT repository to download avast! Linux Edition?

Thanks

pupusse,

I’m talking about a repository and not a like to download the file…

Yes, it is basically possible, but the demand for such option is quite low (~ you re the first one who’s asking for it  and only apt-compatible distros would profit here - so it isn’t considered a priority task for now… anyway, the *.debs are available so that there’s no obstacle for anyone to make it, if requested.

zilog,

Thanks

Sure, I think one day Avast Linux developer team make one repository, coz every linux user can update their avast workstation automaticaly. If possible for red hat base, debian base etc. Thank you.

Making this repo will be one feature that avast! team will offer to it users, and this will not add much work for its developers…

Any progress on this?

I think they need source files to add avast! in the repository…for example easy urpmi!

one ubuntu-repository is internally available for testing, additional details on Monday (release-candidate build will be made).
