Requesting a feature

Hi
I want to request a feature that is really helpful
It would be nice if there was number of Scanned items and infected files in result window
Please add this in the next update

It is essentially there already AvastUI > Protection > Antivirus - Scan History, now select the last scan that you did. Use the detailed report button to see any detections.

Yes there is
But it’s better if it is shown in (View Result) window after each scan just like other AVs

For the most part nothing is found on my ‘test’ scan (I generally don’t do on-demand scans) unless I seed the area for detections.

If there are detections then you should get the detection information on conclusion of the scan, aren’t you getting that ?

I get that
But i say it must show number of scanned items and number of infected files
For example:
2500 file were scanned
1325 were infected

I just can’t get excited about stats, if I ran a scan all I would be interested in would be if it found anything, not how many files were scanned.

With a resident (on-access) scanner the need for on-demand scans is much depreciated. For the most part dormant/inert files are being scanned, the other active files are going to be scanned by the resident shields when they are activated.
