Rescue Disk Creation Problem

Hello everyone!

I created a Rescue Disk for a USB stick using Avast Free V9.0.2006.

When booting off the stick I get a message “missing operating system”.

I’ve tried booting off the USB stick on 3 different computers and used 3 different installs of Avast with no luck.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I have similar problem. I tried to create USB disk, I formatted 16GB USB stick to FAT32, NTFS - nothing happens … The I tried to create ISO image in folder - same here - folder is empty - same as USB stick. So what is the problem?

Same problem here,
After donwloading quite a lot of bytes creation of rescue medium (USB) stops at about 40 %
I think, Avast people should have a look at this.
I use Windows 7 64bit

I can also report that creating an ISO and burning to CD doesnt work either.

Rescue disk creation don’t work in french language (perhaps in others languages)
Change to “English” and the tool will work fine.

Avast is already in English not French

what do you mean with Rescue Disk Creation “solved”?
Installing English language for Avast doesn´t solve the problem at all.

Afraid you need English LP for Windows.
