Hello, I tried to create a rescue disk on an USB stick but it fails. Tried it with NTFS and FAT 32 formatted USB stick. The rescue cyclus start until 87% then the message apear, no rescue disk created. I use AVAST Premier. Any idea?
Try another usb stick.
Something to try, turn off avast self defence first
any change?
Iām using the latest free beta version of Avast. (Self Protection is enabled)
As you can see, no problem creating the Rescue media.

Is your USB at least 4 gig ? (There was a long delay after the creation reached 86% on my creation
and the time when I got the final completion message.
I went one step further and actually tested the created rescue media:

To me, this indicates that as of the current beta build, the Avast Rescue Disc utility is working properly.
I turned off the selfe defense option but the rescue disk still fails.
The USB stick I used has 32 GB and is type 3.0 So I tried another stick, type USB 2.0 16GB and this time the rescue disk has been created. So the problem is solved.
Thanks forum friends fot the good suggestions.
