Research in Motion

Has anyone heard of this program? I found it, today, on my PC. I am currently running a full scan. I found some websites that stated it is malware. I was able to simply delete the folder, (but before I ran avast!) But I’m sure if I reboot, it will be there, again. It also has its own website, so perhaps they think they are legit.

Seems the said program has something to do with blackberry products http://www.rim.com/products/ , do you have one of these ?

Have you got a Blackberry phone as RIM (Research In Motion) is the company that make it.

What is the file name, where was it found e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?

what do you think DavidR…will he also get 2 000 000 million pounds ;D

Probably not if he hasn’t replied to the bait £2million question.

Seriously though, it rather depends if he has a Blackberry and installed any linking/syncing software that may be legit. Which is why I asked the question on file name and location, etc.
